All the cable channels are trying to scare people about a hurricane that, if you look at the weather maps show it will not affect the Eastern seaboard. winds are predicted at about 70 MPH or so, what is sad is that us in Socal deal with 70-100 MPH winds every year, they call em Santa Anas. I have dealt withe these winds for 47 years, sometimes 40-50 mph but I've been thru 100 mph winds that took my fences away,WAY AWAY.
But we don't live on the East coast,so we don't count, WTF ever!

Media chumps. It's not the coast...it's water...they WILL talk about rainstorms out here...
ReplyDeleteNotice my Dad's buddy (hard-core Yankee), that responded to me re: Arizona, is more concerned withour our plight than with "drizzle earl" as he called it. Smart knows no coast.
