Grooveshark update

After updating Flash, and waiting about five minutes to load, ( I didn't wait, I use firefox and did something else)I was able to pull up a song, waited about 2 minutes for it to come up, wrote some comments and emails, went back and noticed even though the song was playing, the page was still loading after 10 minutes! That points me to the ad servers, which is the first and last things that load on a commercial page.
That said,it's probably an adserver issue, but as Stu and I say, COMPARED TO WHAT?

On a sad note....

P.D. won't be making it out here for Thanksgiving due to money issues, and that sucks!
We know shit happens though so We'll just stay in touch and will be ready when he is.
Add to that Stu and I are working on remote recording possibilities for P.D. so we may yet get some good stuff out there sooner,I guess it depends on timing as usual,

KGB Decends into the BRG studios

Saturday night was a blast, We had Jeff,Joe, J.J. and Art over for a listening party.
We spend 5 hours going over the recording we did on Halloween, picking out the best we could get to mix down. This can be quite tedious, however these guys are very Pro so they knew what they were hearing and made some good choices for Stu and I to work with.
Pics anyone?

I was at the Bobarian's house last night....

Get this.....

I walk up the sidewalk and there's Q.....playing his DRUMS!

His new kit, all set up, looking and sounding great!

p.s. I took the 12 string out of it's case and it was very sweetly still in tune! Good find, Q!

More pics in the slideshow?

Chluthu,and PD

Deep in the darks of time there was Chluthu, and PD, Pd ran for the exits and Chluthu stayed in the Dark Underworld, and still hopes for his fifteen minutes of fame. On the other hand, PD was discovered in Southern California as a wild, homeless kid,(reminds me of the the kid in Road Warrior) and was picked up by the olde band Bobzilla. After many years he established himself in the Arizona Desert, where he thrives to this day.
A fresh/old member of BRG, his contributions are awesome and long distance, which is what the BRG is looking to do, Thanks PD!

WOW

Please feel free to destroy my erudition and contextual spelling,Stu dumps on my punctuation all the time,(and I like it)Bottom line,Thanks to all of the BRG!

About P.D

In my last post, I may have given short shrift to the PD,In response I say the following, We play for Blister Records GROUP, Not Company, PD goes back to our first live band events, and is a great find(thank you Social networking)I thought I had lost touch with him forever, but no, He still has the Talent and willingness to come in and lay down the coolest of jams and understood early our process, and freedom of schedule, cause that's what we do,hehe.
We work hard to get our associates involved and for typical(to me)A lot of reasons of our musical friends flake on us,Daniel for example, is a great musician/writer ,but has some issues he needs to deal with, and that's cool, but he started and didn't finish what we started, so he get's put on hold.
PD and the KGB as well, take their music seriously, and do what they can when they can,and that's enough for Rock and Roll, See you soon PD!
Y

What's up!?

P.D. coming out for some lead sessions on Thanksgiving weekend, Bonus!
The KGB is coming over on Saturday to go over the tracks we did at the Boomer Tribute last Halloween (last week),this is good,we did a remote recording session and need the guys who played the music to give us an idea of what they like.
So far we have Art(Bass),Joe(guitar and vocals)and of course Jeff(Lead vocals and guitar)showing up and we will go over all the things we recorded to settle upon a list of tunes to mix. Sounds like Bla Bla Bla but we need them to decide what they want to hear, and mix from there, better for you, better for me(Priest song?).Remind me to take some pics,

Why I'm against gay marriage

Marriage isn't just between a Man and a Women, it is a commitment to bond for life,as one, as it were, and also a means of reproduction.
Not just Little "me's" running about but for the entire species, humans instinctually seek out mates,to make Babies! After all, we are still just stupid mammals eh?

Meanwhile in Europe, half of the countries there are below replacement rates for their people, the Italians, at 1.4 kids per marriage, cannot replace themselves, at all, They Are Done.Japan too, 1.3?
In the U.S. we are at about 2.4, that's good enough(1.9 being minimum)For the Anglo people to survive.
The saddest and to me the most frightening part is that Europe won't be Depopulated, so much as infiltrated by hordes of Swarthymen bent on destruction, rapine and mayhem, all in the name of their god.
gay=death, Women=chattel slaves, sad, sad, religion, btw average kid rate, 6.2 in Gaza which is supposed to be a refugee camp, hmmm...

so don't despair, FUCK!!!!

So that's why I'm against gay marriage, sorry boys(and gals)but you'll just have too find another word, as we Heteros kinda own this one M'kay?

Welcome P.D.!

Straight outta Tuscon! He's been a comrade and bandmate of the BLT squad for nearly 20 years, so again,WELCOME!

Pondering

I'm sitting here and reasoning how
It all began, the here and now
Faces of friends come and go
have they too pondered, yearned to know

In years gone by it mattered not
The journey forged, led to this spot
I've seen the turns, for I walked each step
I laughed the laughs, shed tears and wept

So the trek was tough seems there's no doubt
Fulfilling, frustrating making me shout
Suddenly its there, what a fool for not knowing
Its not how I got here, its where i'm going

Logorama!

This is Awesome, Logos were used purposely throughout and there is a great story as well. At 16 minutes it's a bit long but it is worth the time,
